For the last 15 years, I have sat across from countless marketing executives and CEOs around one central question: how can we attract more people? Since that time, I’ve learned that’s not always the best question to ask. There’s power in asking the right questions at the right time because that’s what’s going to lead you to the answers.
As a small agency creative director, I have been fortunate to wear all the hats, including creative, branding, strategy, production, public relations, digital, account service, production, copywriting, design and more. What that’s done is given me a well-rounded, holistic understanding of what it takes to build and execute a marketing strategy.
With so many platforms and activities your customers expect from you, it’s easy to be overwhelmed. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, live videos, blog, content calendars, SEO, paid ads, organic, branding, sales funnels, offers, email list…and so much more. Do you need to do everything? My consulting workshops are designed to help small- and mid-sized organizations set up and run their marketing in a simple format by asking the right questions. Marketing should be two things: simple and fun. Follow the basic principles and your marketing will work. And you’ll have fun doing it.

First, we start with an hour-long intake meeting where I ask you an uncanny amount of questions about your business and your goals, what’s worked, what hasn’t and more. It gives me a good idea of what your pain is and where I need to focus my efforts to help you. There is no cost or obligation for this meeting. In fact, let’s do it over lunch, my treat. If I think for some reason I cannot help you, I will tell you. Better than saying yes and having a disappointed client.
Next, if we’re a good fit for each other and I can help you, I put together a proposal based on your needs. Don’t be surprised if it’s very simple—If you’re looking for wordy or complicated proposals, you’ll be disappointed. But be warned, a skinny proposal does not equate to unsubstantial results. You’ll see just what you need: an outline of exactly what I can and will do and your investment in exchange for my services.
Finally, we sign papers, pick a start date and get to work. The fun begins…
